What is an Open Graph image and what size should it be?
It is the thumbnail shown when your link is shared on social media. A 1200 by 630 pixel image is the widely recommended size for crisp, correctly cropped cards across most networks.
Why does my real link still show an old preview?
Social platforms cache previews, so changes can lag behind. After updating your tags, use the platform's own debugger or sharing tool to refresh the cached version.
Do I need both Open Graph and Twitter tags?
Open Graph covers Facebook, LinkedIn and many others, and X/Twitter falls back to it. Adding dedicated Twitter card tags gives you more control over how the card looks specifically on X.
