What grade do I need on the final

Grade Calculator — frequently asked questions
How is the weighted grade calculated?
Each score is multiplied by its weight, those products are summed, and the total is divided by the sum of the weights you've filled in. So scores of 90 (weight 20) and 82 (weight 30) give (90×20 + 82×30) ÷ 50 = 85.2%.
What happens if I leave the final blank?
Blank items are ignored and the grade is renormalized over only the completed weights. This shows your true standing on graded work, rather than treating the missing final as a zero.
What letter grade does each percentage earn?
It uses the standard US scale: 90 and above is an A, 80–89 a B, 70–79 a C, 60–69 a D, and below 60 an F. Check your school's chart if it uses plus/minus or different cutoffs.
Do my weights have to add up to 100?
For a final class grade they should. The 'Weight entered' panel shows your running total against 100% so you can confirm nothing is missing or double-counted before you trust the result.
Are my grades stored or sent anywhere?
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser with no sign-up — your scores are never uploaded, logged or shared, and they disappear when you close the tab.
